How often will they get stopped going thru Texas (w/ SFW pics)

(I normally wouldn't have 2 threads going at once but this one came from out of the blue, as it were)

This morning I woke up to find my nephew and his gf had shown up at my door and, instead of ringing the doorbell, called the house for my mom to let them in. They live in Oregon and are on a road trip to the Gulf of Mexico (somewhere in Texas, they haven't even decided yet) and then on to Ohio (of all places). They stop here in Arizona because it's on the way, they get free room and eats and I'm pretty sure mom gave them a couple hundred.

Anyway, they left this afternoon and when I saw the condition of their car I asked my nephew if he was 'carrying anything' and when he wanted to know why I asked I told him that there was no way he was getting thru Texas in that mess w/o getting stopped at least once.

That bucket contains rocks the gf crushes into powder for her pottery making. Plus, there's a cat in a cage in there somewhere.

i did an across texas thing with bmx bikes and alot of stuff in an old ford ranger to ohio, never got stopped once

btw: They're both Vegans. They 'cooked' and made me eat a dinner a couple visits ago. That will NOT happen again.

That's what I was wondering. When I asked how anybody could sit in the passenger seat she demonstrated how there is a tiny little area on the other side of the can where you can squiggle your legs into. I don't care how young you are, that's a miserable way to travel. She must really 'please' my nephew if he's putting up w/ sitting next to a can of rocks like that for a couple thousand miles.
