his hand line doesnt make much conventional sense--I mean you have a top pair ish type hand, wouldnt he want to maximize value? for this reason this is almost always a fold vs crazy euros--they almost always have it in this spot in my experience.

i came to the same conclusion and finally folded so i dont know what he had. if he in fact was value betting something like AQ well that woulda sucked =)

sounds like he had 7 8 suited and was hoping u fired again on the turn for a c/r. Overbet on river to look like a bluff.

this time looks a lot like a whiffed cr / trying to rep AQ since you'd be prone to put him on a one pair type hand given the last river overbet

but i think thats the only hand he might have here that you beat, and air is very strange. so this time looks like a fold, and looks like he's just trying to level you on what he think you view to be his river overbet tendancies.
