Mark Seif open folded, it happens, it's happened to me when I've had a good hand and a bad hand.

Have you ever played limit

If so, have you ever open folded in a capped pot PF

If so, did your opponent happen to flop top boat that hand

[/ QUOTE ]

omg its one hand, he was a loser in the game, and i'm pretty sure the guy took back his allegations

[/ QUOTE ]
NO ONE who plays limit would EVER open fold a 522 flop with 8 small bets in the pot already with ANYTHING they got there with

Did you read the guy's story or are you just assuming it couldn't have happened? AS DESCRIBED BY HIM it sounds VERY MUCH like Seif got sick of losing and called his superuser buddy to tell him the other guy's hole cards. And as I understood it he retracted it later basically because he was doing well at AP and didn't want to rock the boat.

[/ QUOTE ]

AS DESCRIBED BY HIM: the guy recanted his story.

[/ QUOTE ]

Holy crap you are putting me on life tilt. Do you make money by not comprehending this situation or something?

This:

1. I changed my mind about quitting.
2. I play there every day.
3. I no longer play site owners hu for big stakes.
4. At this point I don't think I was cheated, if I was it probably wasn't the only time playing online.
5. I no longer play site owners hu for big stakes.

IS NOT A RECANTATION. It's a carefully worded backing-away from the issue. He even over-emphasized the most important point for the truly oblivious people.

Do you even read this stuff?

No one has ever said this is cold hard proof, but it is information, and it does change the estimates of some key probabilities. This thing more intricate by the moment with every new discovery, and we may need every clue we can get.

edit: I share suzzer's notion that it's silly, almost suspicious even, to single out this piece of evidence as different from the rest, when it so easily fits the likely story, method, and attitude of the alleged superaccounting activity.

I agree the Seif thing confuses the issue. I'll give it up now.

You can't completely dismiss the Seif heads-up match now. The K9 boat open-fold was ONE hand, yes, but it wasn't just that one hand being complained about. That was just the most offensive of the bunch. stuckinpgh actually complained that Seif seemed to know the right moves EVERY HAND.

I know this because I know stuckinpgh personally, and he discussed it all with me right when it happened.

BTW, why has Mark been so quiet about this whole thing? He hasn't made one post or public statement clearing AP or even his own name. I'd love to see him involved here.

i think we just need to accept that fact that seif is likely guilty of something but isn't quite stupid enough to get himself directly implicated

at the very least he's guilty of many lies during the denial campaign that allowed these cheaters to extracate 100's of thouands from AP players and them dump it/cash it out

frankly, i put 0 weight into something when:
1.) He never provides proof, HH or anything similar
2.) It comes of a bad losing session
3.) He plays Seif again later

Is it possible that Seif was using a superuser? Sure, but theres nothing even close to approaching other evidence in this thread
