[/ QUOTE ] no, i didn't... i just downloaded the songs from their myspace. edit: apparently since i did that, you can't download them from their myspace anymore. they're supposed to email you the password for the download or something like that, apparently.

brett, what did you think of THS show? I thought all three bands kicked ass - that's pretty ballsy of The Hold Steady to put Art Brut ahead of you, given how much of a presence they have. Had never listened to Art Brut before but they were [censored] intense. Craig Finn is so lol; I loved it.

Okay, let me just say thanks to 2p2, mostly nath, for getting me to check out Jens Lekman. I love the album absolutely, and "The Opposite of Hallelujah" has very quickly joined my all-time favorite songs. (It helps that I have a little sister and that the lyrics of that song really captured a certain feeling for me, but of course the music itself is great, too.)
