please lower rake on $1.20 1 table sngs. 20% is unbelievably ridiculous. or at least add a 1.50+.15 10 man turbo. stars does not really offer sngs <$3 that are not rake traps. i believe rake traps really hurt the spirit of the game.

StarsDude,

Can you give us any comments on how seriously our recommendations are taken, whether or not it is realistic to reduce rake, any comments at all about our comments?

Yes, would love to hear some actual reasons in print from Pokerstars as to why lowering rake is not a profitable business model.

I would also be a fan of a 150/300 level and 10 handed fwiw.

I prefer structure based on number of hands and not timed. Of course I don't play SnGs anymore, but I actually preferred PartyPoker in this regard.

It occurred to me recently that I really agree with this 100%. It adds more strategy because its a fixed variable you can take into account as opposed to something u have to guess at. Moreover moving it up based on times could be abused. Although I cant speak to whether that occurs.

One of the most significant issues in reduced roi causing players to leave sng's since the departure of party from the US market was the difference in payout between 9 and 10 man sng's regarding 3d place payouts. That and the 10 hand blind change rule vs timed blinds. But those trying to figure out why earn rates among sng players have gone down so much should add whatever the diff is in a 3d place payout for a 10 man to a payout for 3d place in a 9 man and you have most of your answer.

With hands/level why not change the hands/level so it staggers with blind levels, or if that's too complicated which I think it is, make it say 10-15 hands for the first four or five, and 15-20 hands/level thereafter, then have turbos be roughly 2/3 of that.

Create some new steps-type SNG things, but for cash, and starting with $1 or less.
