Default NL25: Flopped FH. Strange river shove bei villain.

Villain is 27/12/0.55 over only 30 hands, so no real sample there.
I'm running at 18/10 at this table.

Poker Stars, $0.10/$0.25 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 9 Players
LegoPoker Hand History Converter

BB: $15.40
UTG: $10.70
UTG+1: $24.80
UTG+2: $20.25
Hero (MP1): $19.50
MP2: $30.05
CO: $23.40
BTN: $7.20
SB: $25.60

Pre-Flop: 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (MP1)
UTG raises to $0.50, UTG+1 folds, UTG+2 calls $0.50, Hero calls $0.50, MP2 folds, CO calls $0.50, 3 folds

Flop: ($2.35) 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (4 Players)
UTG checks, UTG+2 checks, Hero bets $1.50, CO calls $1.50, 2 folds

Turn: ($5.35) 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero checks, CO checks

River: ($5.35) 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero bets $2.50, CO raises to $21.40 and is All-In, Hero ?

Damn, forget to cut out the results. Sorry.

I believe someone with a .55 aggression factor on the river especially since it was only min-raised preflop and his range is enormous meaning he has a lot of hands that have 9s. This would be an odd play for a higher boat.

Sorry.

Hey Mike,
in fact as this hand occured the zeebo theorem was my first thought, though in two directions: am I the one who is not able to let it go or is maybe he the one who is not able to let a smaller boat go.
Thing is: I was very sure (like at least 90%) that he does not have a higher PP than my 88. I shortly thought about him having a 9, but IMO it's so [censored] tough to really plan with quads. On the other hand he could have a five, a six (maybe reason for him to shove as he put me on a lone A or someting) or 77 for a higher boat than possible with a board card. In fact, I guess it would've been easier for me to let it go if he had like raised to 7-8 as with his weird shove.

you only have 9 BBs invested on the river, I'd fold.

Well I missed the initial results and its a [censored] spot.

The only things that pop out are
- What hand with a 5 or 6 calls the flop? (except 66/55)
- 77/44/33/22 checks behind dont they?
- Its ~8-1 that the case 9 is out there with 3 others to the flop (6 Hole Cards/47 Possible Cards)

Grrrr, I would fold its close but losing a stack tends to tilt me a little.

Edit - I SHOULD fold, but I make these calls all the time when I dont have time to think it through.

I think if the rest of the hand had played differently I might of got allin on this river with this hand, but it is the minimum. I think you really have to let it go to that extreme overbet of the pot on the river.

That just screams slowplayed monster to me, you have to be right so often with that call is why it is kind of spewy...

Sorry you are running bad, I know how frustrating it is.
