[/ QUOTE ] lol exaggeraments but come on, the majority of athletes i've known had to be forced to even do the minimum amount of calisthenics necessary for basic injury prevention [/ QUOTE ] i have started stretching my quads, hamstrings, calves, and all the the leg muscles for like a half hour two times a day. when i went to the doc for tendonitis a couple yeaars ago he said it was cause the muscles my legs were too tight and puttting constnat pressure on my knee. |

Specifically the outside of quadriceps gets tighter than the inner part, so in addition to pulling the knee upwards it also twists it to the side. Most casual stretches don't address the problem. |
