NL50 - double combo draw on turn
Villain seems to play like a regular. Plays tight, raises on button to isolate fish. Afternoon game, if that matters.
Villain is 22/12/10 over 80 hands to this point. PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (4 handed) Poker Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums) Hero ($50) UTG ($53.40) Button ($9.75) SB ($50.45) Preflop: Hero is BB with 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. 1 fold, Button calls $0.50, SB completes, Hero checks. Flop: ($1.50) K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players) SB bets $1.5, Hero calls $1.50, Button folds. Turn: ($4.50) 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players) SB bets $3.5, Hero raises to $12, I assume standard fair here is to call. Any reason not to raise? I'm prolly calling a shove getting 1.8:1 |

i like it. ur line looks wickid scary aka 2pair or better. so i doubt he can call with much imo.
but i raise preflop in a 4 handed game and then raise over this bet on tha flop. pretty meh either way tho |

Re: NL50 - double combo draw on turn
I like it. Your raise on the turn was fine. From your first and second post in this thread, it seems like villain came back over the top and put you all-in?
It's just math at that point, and how much you feel like gambling. You have what, 15 outs with 1 card to come. If he has a set already, you have 13 outs. IMO, let it go. |

[/ QUOTE ]i didnt do the pot odds. just assuming ur 1.8 to 1 is right that prolly means it is a fold altho i snap call at the table. but yea i wouldnt mind makin it like 15ish and thus makin the call better. |

Re: NL50 - double combo draw on turn
what's his cbet turn %?
I like the raise just because his AF is 10 assuming he bets way too often which is likely the case. |

Re: NL50 - double combo draw on turn
I'd just like to reiterate that this one of the spots where you get a fun turn and think "zomg I have teh fold equity" but in reality, if SB is any good he will stack you with A8. What the hell kind of hand flatcalls this flop in a limped pot and now decides to raise?

Re: NL50 - double combo draw on turn
I like it. If he is good then he has to fold alot of his range here. Even if called, you have alot of outs to fall back on and its great for your image. Its good either way. I also call this at the table, the odds arent quite there but meh. I guess you could raise the turn bigger to make a call correct.
