um, have you been cbetting alot? i'd cbet this. I'd pot size this, half a pot might be too small and keep an 8 around. push might seem to weak, depends on the villian. Also, how is there only 875 in the pot if you raised 500 and got called? Should be at least 1100 plus ante?

I probably just shove. He'll know you have a FD, but generally still can't call.

I think shoving and cbetting are both good, although im not smart enough to figure out which one is better. I probably just cbet almost full pot, because we have ~3800 and a cbet isnt killing our stack if he calls. Also, if he calls he likely checks the turn so we can check behind and see the river for free.

hey chip,

why do you like a shove better than a 700 chip c-bet? board is pretty dry, a shove is not gonna fold a queen.

Haha, sorry John. The more I think about it, the less I like a shove here. I agree that 600 or 700 seems better against most villains. If you thought villain was tricky/over aggro, then a shove seems more viable, since we don't want him making a play at us and forcing us off the hand.

c-bet seems fine but I HATE getting check raised here. I don't like a shove.
