Default Basic AHK question

I've downloaded AHK and placed it in C:\Program Files\AutoHotkey

Then I downloaded TableHighlighter.ahk and place it in C:\Program Files\TH along with Roland functions
How do I get the whole thing to run? If I try to run autohotkey.exe it ask if I want to make a sample script. When I click no it exits the program.
Any help for a dummy would be appreciated
TIA

You open the TableHighlighter.ahk file. You don't ever open autohotkey.exe, you just need to have it installed.
