5-10 Venetian: Overpair on textured flop
My image is tight
Villain seems loose-passive Effective stacks are 1500 Villain limps in EP I limp in MP with 7s7c 4 others limp in Flop (60) 3h4h5d Villain bets 30 This seems suspicious to me, because if he had a 5, wouldn't he bet more to protect it? I call with my overpair and inside straight draw 2 others call Turn (180) 3h4h5d Kc Villain bets 60 I call One other call River (360) 3h4h5d Kc 8s Villain bets 150 I fold Too passive on flop? |

Re: 5-10 Venetian: Overpair on textured flop
yes way way too passive on the flop. Toss in a raise if only for the purpose of taking control of the hand

Re: 5-10 Venetian: Overpair on textured flop
hmmm flop is 3 4 5 and early villain leads and you have two behind.
Unless this is the most weak group of humans you ever met, i think fold flop, otherwise make it 75 and shut down. |

Re: 5-10 Venetian: Overpair on textured flop
I'd just fold the flop. Your hand is weak, your reverse implied odds are awful, a loose passive player just led into the field, and there are FOUR people yet to act.

Re: 5-10 Venetian: Overpair on textured flop
Changed my mind, folding flop is good. Calling wouldn't be too bad though.
I think you gotta fold this turn though especially with another player to act behind you. |
