Default QJs early in $530 PLHE

Villian sat down like 10min ago and has been very aggressive and i dont think he is very good. He also has a crapload of chips this early usually means hes a donkey. I know not necessarily, but probably. I called pf because I thought that with position that this is a good chance to take some of the dead money in this mtt. I just wanted to make sure that I played this correctly. And if I did, is this a good place to gamble?

eh, the flop is fine. I wouldn't raise so much. Once he 3bets, you're committed.

PF, fold > raise > call

Pf is fine. On the flop I call or fold that full pot bet means hes never folding.

Agreed. I likely just call once. Your likely a very slight dog against his range if you factor in that he he has a spade with his pair 50% of the time and when he's got JJ+ he cuts down your outs a lot. That pot bet is always a hand and almost never folding.

I don't think preflop is fine. Call the flop for sure though.

well I dont think this guy is potting this flop with just JJ+. Now my question is am I just calling on the flop with the intention of just using my position to take the pot away on the turn? Or is this just we should be playing cautiously this early in an MTT?

ok nm with read he's spewy aggro pf is prboably ok, but even aggro guys show up with a lot of hands that dominate us, and the fact that they're aggro isn't really that bad when we're usually missing or flopping something marginal.
