Re: Worst movies you\'ve ever seen

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] My gf made me watch Better Off Dead with her. Why has this pos not been listed yet? [/ QUOTE ] It hasn't been listed because it's a terribly wrong answer. [/ QUOTE ] Yeah. Or maybe because it's probably the greatest 80's comedy. Hilarious, surreal, and incredibly original. And it still holds up. Probably one of my favourite comedies ever. [/ QUOTE ] I concur. One of the best 80's comedies without a doubt. A ton of great quotables. I am finance manager at my dad's car dealership and this guy comes into my office to fill out some credit information a few months back. He hands me the completed form and his name is Lane Meyer. I started dying laughing. He said," yeah, I get that a lot for some reason". Sure enough Lane Meyer bought a Nissan Exterra that day. |

Re: Worst movies you\'ve ever seen
Lol at American Beauty and Last of the Mohicans.
I nominate Lost in Translation. When it was over I looked over at m+d and they asked me wtf just happened and I said I don't have the slightest idea. It just never made any sense. |

Re: Worst movies you\'ve ever seen
You really can't say any of these movies are the 'worst' ever: Death to Smoochy
Solaris Lady Killers The Cave To me.. the worst movies are the ones that are derivative, mindless, and obviously made just to cash in on other like movie successes. So while the above listed movies may not be great or even enjoyable.. they are hardly the among the worst ever made. For that.. I give you: The Relic http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0120004/ |

Re: Worst movies you\'ve ever seen
Got stuck seeing Charlies Angels: Full throttle because the other movie we went to see got sold out.
It was the first movie I seriously considered walking out of in a theater. More recently, I turned off the movie "Contract" that just came out on DVD. FWIW, I've only turned off maybe 2-3 movies in my life. |

Re: Worst movies you\'ve ever seen
North. Ebert put is so well in his review...
"I hated this movie. Hated hated hated hated hated this movie. Hated it. Hated every simpering stupid vacant audience-insulting moment of it. Hated the sensibility that thought anyone would like it. Hated the implied insult to the audience by its belief that anyone would be entertained by it." |
