10/20 hu steaming river call?
play is ultra fast ultra aggressive hu with lots of $ flying in preflop. postflop play is mostly game theory with almost no care for the math. we've each made some big river bluffs and thin calls, and we've each started laying down on the river to overbets. neither of us has thought for more than 5 seconds at any point. we're both starting to steam.

Why the small raise on the turn?

Re: 10/20 hu steaming river call?
I think you should just call on the turn or raise more, but the way the match has been going from the sounds of it I like just calling.
I'm not sure about the river. |

Re: 10/20 hu steaming river call?
the entire hand literally took < 10 seconds to play. we were both playing so quickly that were consistently missing ideal betting amounts. but i believe he was much further off, so rather than settling down and allowing him to do the same, i went with it.

Re: 10/20 hu steaming river call?
i admit that my line was nowhere near standard. but villain was so aggressive that he was preflop raising any2 and if i smoothcalled preflop and the flop, he would overbet jam on a later street with anything. he was being so ridiculous that this was a slowplay/trap A-Z even with just an ace. but i was scared that if i didn't stack him soon, he'd adjust his pace. should i have waited for something stronger for this type of play? would anyone else go for it?

What is the result of this hand. From what I read I think he has a king.

Re: 10/20 hu steaming river call?
Hero calls $1731 and wins $4902. villain had A3.
but i was really looking for more opinions from hu specialists. is this an appropriate move to make given the game texture or should i have stuck to more standard play like azk suggested? i hate having to make that river call, but i think he still bluffs on a blank, making the call much easier. |

Re: 10/20 hu steaming river call?
If you make it $900 on the turn then you'll both be autoallin on the river.
