I think this is true for the web sites but not for the paper itself. The Washington Post's web site is fantastic and offers so much more than any other site I know.

As a liberal hippie eating my lucky charms and smoking my joint at breakfast before not going to work I sometimes find the articles are a little slanted, yes, however so is every newspaper in the world, at least the times isn't sneaky about it.

How did this thread become some retarded political argument? Take that [censored] to the politics forum, losers.

The NYT has a good Magazine section, its art and cultural criticism are top notch (e.g. AO Scott and Manohla Dargis in the film reviews), and the writing and editing are crystal clear. It's a very good paper.

But I also like the LA Times and Chicago Tribune.

The worst major metropolitan newspaper I've seen is the Miami Herald.
