Re: Someone played my AP account while I was sleeping today.
Goto another computer, change password to your email and AP. Then format YOUR computer.

Seems alot of people have been stung by this. You are lucky he did not wipe your whole account out.

Re: Someone played my AP account while I was sleeping today.
I feel very fortunate to only have lost $160.
So far I've only gotten an automated reply from AP. I went to a friends house and changed the passwords from his brand new computer. I feel a bit a fool to say I haven't really kept up to date on security measures beyond running SpyBot frequently. My computer is somewhat old and I was thinking of getting a new one, and maybe this is a sign to do just that. And I shall follow ColdCallers post about keeping my computer secure. I still don't get why they continued to play 6handed if they were intending to chip-dump. It seems to make it a lot harder. There seemed to be one guy he dumped most to, but still lost dollars here and there to other players limping with J2s and 73o. Maybe playing with multiple players was to make it harder to track? Anyway, thanks for the input guys. |
