25/50 tp+nfd
Heads up, effective stacks =~ 10k, very aggresive match with plenty of 3 bet bluffs. We've both been lag and villain has been calling big river bets pretty thin, though not worse than top pair. I need some help on the turn with nfd+tp.
AdTd on a board of [2d4dAc][9s] AcJc on a board of [2c7dJs][3c] Is your main objective to see the river since he usually calls psb? Or are you semibluff/calling < psb or pushing at all? Need help both in and out of position. Assume action preflop and flop is all over the place. I have no idea what's standard... |

Re: 25/50 tp+nfd
it's gonna be tough to give you advice without previous action....what happened before the turn?

Re: 25/50 tp+nfd
was hoping for more general advice, especially position oriented, but if that's not available...
hero makes it 200 on the button with AdTd bb calls 150 flop: [2d4dAc] bb bets 250, hero raises to 800, bb calls 550 turn: [9s] bb checks, hero... (he could be planning on calling down with Ax, or crai with 222,444,A2,A3,A4,A5,air) button raises to 150, hero reraises to 500 with AcJc, button calls 350 flop: [2c7dJs] hero bets 600, button calls turn: [3c] hero... he might be calling down as light as Jx since i've bluffed off a few 80%psb on river with nothing, or sometimes he'll push all in with ?? |

Re: 25/50 tp+nfd
Hi pat,
The first hand is "tougher" than the 2nd, IMO, though obviously both hands are great ones to have. I think I check behind good players in hand 1, and just call the river unless I make top 2 or a flush. You definitely could make an argument for betting with the hope that he'll CRAI, if he's super-agg, or not that good and agg. Hand 2 is a clear check-raise, not necessarily all in, since the guy is probably drawing so incredibly thin. The only time I wouldn't c/r the turn is if I thought he was highly likely to raise the turn if I bet out, in which case I'd bet/3-bet. |
