Strange ? - Best DS Games for 7 Yr. Old Non-English Speaker?

Hey, my parents have relatives in Poland and they would like to buy a DS for one of the kids there. I was wondering if there are any good 7 year old appropriate games that don't require extensive reading or knowledge of the language. I suppose any DS or GBA games would be ok.

Also, I assume there is a polish language version of Pokemon out there. Is Pokemon 7 year old appropriate still?

pokemon is definitely 7 year old appropriate.

You'd need to understand English to play Pokemon else you wouldn't know what to do next etc.

Go for Mario, Yoshi & Sonic games - they're (mostly) straightforward and great for younger kids [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Not sure if Elite Beat Agents would qualify... you don't really need to understand any of the lyrics of the song, you just need to be able to tap with the beat. I love the Japanese versions and I hardly know a lick of Japanese.

I think any of the Nintendogs games might be fun for a 7 year old.

I guess Mario Kart would be the only other one I can think of off the top of my head.

I feel weird for having owned both canvas curse and new super mario bros. now. Anyway, he's getting my copies of that and there are some other games you guys mentioned that I didn't think of. Thanks for the responses.
