help out a moran, was this the most favorable pitching matchup for the yankees? meaning is it better than games 2 and 3?

I give cle SP's the edge game 1/2 Clemens obv gets the nod over Byrd/Westbrook

ETA: I'm sure some/many? here give Pettite the edge over Carmona. Sure Andy's got the savvy, but Carmona is a beast.

hes proly worse. hes blown a few non-save opps as well. like coming in with a 4+ run lead and chumping.

There does exist the faint pssibility that The Yankees have at some point on the way to 26 WS championships overcome so HUDGE a deficit as being ONE WHOLE game behind in a series.

Just throwing that out there.
