Default $16s - 200/400, interesting bubble hand against a good reg

Other short stack is albatross77, I figure his limp only means that he might be considering a fold if I shove and the big stack calls. Him doubling through the big stack would almost for sure mean I bubble though, so I called his limp expecting big stack to shove and all 3 of us would be all in. With his fold though, I don't have a choice but to fold since the antes will almost guarantee me ITM. This look good?

he didn't limp he mini raised, leaving himself with t100. i would fold pre cuz you just know BB is calling the push. but def. fold given that button with t100 left after raise folds. be happs with 3rd.

If I fold and the short stack doubles up then I am in a really bad spot. I really want the this to be a 3 way pot where I'm only bubbling if they both beat me. The limp is important though because hes likely planning to fold if both me and the big stack get in here, so by calling his minraise instead of shoving I either get the 3 way pot I wanted or have him anted out like what happened in the actual hand.

And yeah I meant to say he minraised not limped.

Man... I loved your reasoning!
It's a very good move from the button too isnīt? Would you do the same if you are BB? With what range?
Thanks

Unless I was last to act then yeah I think calling his minraise is better than shoving. Then you can fold if he folds pf, and you can call if the the big stack shoves and other short stack gets all in, and you can shove on any flop if its just you and the other short stack going to the flop.

yeah wp. I don't know whether I like his fold to button's raise though -- it seems like he needs to think there's a decent probability you will call if he folds. If you fold after him, he only has 75 chips (you have 255) and he's alot more likely to bubble. Even if he's able to get isolated with BB and triples up next hand, he'll be all-in next hand and lose it with prob at least 50% on average. So if you both fold to button's raise, he'll probably bubble at least 75% of the time, but if he calls and gets all-in 3-way, he'll probably bubble 2/3 of the time, and if he wins he'll have a good stack. So he has to think there's a big chance you'll call button's raise for his fold to be good I think. Correct me if I'm missing something.

Button's play here is absolutely terrible. You should fold if the BB will always showdown.

I don't think his play is necessarily terrible -- alot of $15's players in hero's position might call BB's raise because they think they are "priced in." Or they might have AJ and and be "playing to win." I think he must have read that there was a good chance hero would call if he folds.

With his fold I'm assuming he wasn't giving me credit to fold, I haven't actually played with him that much so he might not even know I'm a reg at the 16s. But yeah hes got better odds with the 3 way pot than with the 75 or so stack against the antes and blinds about to hit him.
