Default best drive cleaner

I need to clean up my system. whats the best method of cleaning it and making it more secure for the future?

Is there anything about this in the FAQ, might be. Otherwise, are you using Vista or XP. Tune Up Utilities is what I use to keep my system clean.

For security you want a good firewall (windows comes with one) and virus checker (Eset Nod32 is what I use) , and some anti spyware (lavasoft adaware is good and free)

I use XP, cant recommend any of these for Vista.

be more specific necro, are you looking to "wipe" the hard drive and get rid of it? or are you just talking about making your PC more secure?
