Default $16 - 50/100, KK w/ shortish stack on an Axx flop

Does anyone play this any differently? I normally cbet here but with only 1000 at the flop its a big chunk of my stack to bet 350 or so and fold to a shove.

River I figure its hardly ever an Ace so I can get extra value here with a small raise.

BB defending for 150 more isn't as concerning as someone calling behind you w/ position. Villain checks flop so I cbet here 300 and probably muck to shove. Stacks do kinda suck here. I just don't want a J to roll off and screw you over when you could've otherwise picked up the pot on the flop. Riv I just flat call the donk bet. You don't want to open yourself up to a shove, can't forget the possibility of villain slowplaying hands here.

Only thing I do differently is I may throw in a bet on turn, and I wouldn't raise river here. I know there are alot of bad players out there, but I would never call a raise there with a worse hand than KK if I where villain.

I def check behind flop vs some opponents, cbet usually works, though.

I like the turn check.

Don't like the river raise.

Hmm I think at $16s you get called pretty often there by worse hands, its probably pretty thin though.

I def see villain looking you up with worse hands, but $16 oppos...I dunno. He could have [censored] AQ here

It's very thin, and if anything I personally prefer to err on the side of cutting down on variance.
