fv,
You can beat AA, thus in my book you have the nuts. |

Push, and get called by worse hand while you are representing a flush draw

play it the same as you would if you had aces. I prob just call and see what he does on the turn. If i get raised behind me i fold too. [/ QUOTE ] i like this line. if he's not drawing, it looks like you're drawing. keeps the pot smaller, too. against a huge draw you're a favorite, but not much of one, or you could be way way behind. |

When people say "see what happens on the turn." Ok, a 2o peels and bb checks/leads for 3/4. Your move. An ace, he checks/ he bets. Your move. An offsuit jack he checks/bets. etc. [/ QUOTE ] i am okay with folding the turn if i think i am beat. this really depends on how the game has been going and a lot of other factors that im not going to get into. |

Re: bottom2, really tricky spot. party 2k6m.
I think you're being raised here with AK/KJ/KT or any drawing hand too much not to reraise on the flop. Assuming the button folds I think you're okay to call an AI by SB.
I'm not sure how the game's played out so far; but if you've raised with sets in the past it's possible (although highly unlikely) that SB could put you on 66 and lay down the only hand that beats you. I'm a low/middle limit player though so I'm not sure my advice is accurate for your limit. |

I would make it 700ish and call a push. Hope his AdJd doesnt get there.

can't sb have ak here a fair percentage of the time? or is that always a reraise in these games? [/ QUOTE ] AK is totally possible. absolutely. |

Re: bottom2, really tricky spot. party 2k6m.
any read on the button? he only has $500, if he wasn't in the hand i would raise probably 100% of the time here, but since he is, maybe you can call, he can shove, then you can see what SB does...regardless for like 2k it's all going in. who cares.
