Default A few Vegas poker rooms

Going after Chritmas and was wondering about limits of LHE & anything else about these rooms:

Sunset Station
Red Rock
Green Valley Ranch

Did a quick search and came up empty

Hi,

As I type this..... Sunset has one game going. A $4-8 LHE.

They also get 1-2 NL everyday.

Their 3-6-9 game is pretty much history (replaced by 4-8).

As I type this.....

GVR has one $2-4 LHE going, one $4-8 LHE going and three $1-2 NL's going.

They also get $3-5 NL everyday.

I played Red Rock Monday night and they had (at 10:30 pm) one O/8 going, one 2-4, two 4-8's, one 2-5 NL, two 1-2 NL's and one heads-up death match NL freezeout.

They also get a $8-16 most days and some higher NL as well (here & there).

Had the pleasure of having Gina deal my table 3 times Monday night (one of the best dealers in Las Vegas IMHO).

Best Wishes

Howard

I went to Vegas last week and actually stayed at both GVR and Redrock. Both have good poker rooms, depending on what you're looking for. GVR has more local players and seemed to be less crowded. Redrock has a very nice room and will surely have enough players at almost any time of day/night. Both rooms have the usual 2-4 and 4-8 limits, with 1-2 or 2-5? NL. I did notice though that Redrock offers higher limit play, like 8-16 or 10-20. Good luck either way.

Just curious why you are choosing those casinos? There are nicer places that probably have comparable rates...most notably MGM Signature. FWIW, MGM website has Signature at $159 for the 26th and 27th, but you need to add $15 more for "resort fee". Red Rock was $149. However, you may be able to get as much as a 30-40% discount by going through a private party. Google "mgm signature" to do this or go to VRBo.com and look under Vegas listings for mgm signature. Also beware of maid fee. Some owners include it, some do not. But seriously, its the nicest regular room I've ever stayed in. It takes about 5 minutes on moving walkways to get to the MGM poker room.

We have friends that we see lot when we get out there that live close to SS.

Thanks for the tips guys.

Never played poker in Vegas but played a lot at Commerce, Haw. Gardens etc. Guess I'll have to get used to not being able to table select much.
