Oh a couple other recruiting things that have really hurt the Terps: Shane Clark was supposed to come to MD but didn't make grades and is now at Villanova. He wasn't groundbreaking but he was a solid player. Reportedly Jai Lucas (son of former Terp John Lucas) had UMD in his final 2 but ultimately chose Florida. He was an awesome PG. And more recently, Terrence Jennings, a top 20 overall recruit, withdrew his oral commitment to Maryland and chose friggin' Louisville. That was a daaagggerrrrrr


As I'm typing this I'm reading that the #1 overall player for the class of '08 chose Gtown. Man, JT3 is really going to town on the recruiting trail...

I wish Maryland didn't suck this year/recently. I'm a Heels fan, but for some reason always kind of pull for Maryland. Maybe b/c their fans seem to hate Duke as much as we do. I like Gary, too.

Last year's game (UNC vs. UMD) was an awesome one to be at. Ellington torched UMD that day iirc, but we managed to pull it out. I've been lucky in that I've been in the Comcast Center for both a victory over Duke and UNC in the past couple of years. College basketball is so much fun
