You could come up with good arguments for leading, check-calling and check-raising. Against an unknown, I couldn't really say exactly which line is best as long as you don't check-fold. Your turn play kinda defines your river play as well. If he does have a flush, it's more likely to be Q or J high, given the flop, so I think you're best off check-calling twice.

I think you lead the turn. Generally a villain will tell you if you're beat.

Will this make me the most money?

I'm more interested in maximizing EV, than finding out if I am beat.

I'd usually lead the turn and call a reraise since hes so short. If we'd been deeper, I wouldn't mind a b/f against an unknown with no notes.

I don't think your line is bad at all tho. After you check the turn, I think calling and checking the river is fine.

FWIW I'm on a streak of folks hitting horrible suckouts against me so I'm in a very protectionist mode right now.

With no real reads I also like to think about minimizing my losses as well. Especially with non-nut hands OOP. I hate PLO out of position. Hate hate hate!

As I look again at the OP, ch/c on the turn gives you a chance to evaluate his bet. $7 into a $14 pot isn't strong...probably. The problem is, he could easily be doing that with the nuts or second-nuts (ahead of your third nuts)...he might be too scared to fire full pot with the nuts, afraid of a boat re-draw. Who knows?

Instead of having to make a decision against an unknown, I like taking down the $15 or getting the hell out of the way in a situation like this.
