HH Review: Stars $55 50k, 8/14
Mods, feel free to move to SSMTT if it belongs there; I wanted to make sure it got seen here first.

QJ tends to play badly vs. a raise with deep stacks. Mostly when you go with your hand you've flopped one pair, and it's often not good enough.
Agreed on hand 195, BB not reraising preflop is a big mistake.

Hand 87: seemed like a weird squeeze spot.
Hand 192: is your opponent the reason you played this so passive OOP? Hand 229: reasoning for overbet? Hand 238: getting a good price? Hand 317: why no repop vs. this laggy guy?

The stacks are ideal for it, as well as a caller who has enough chips to play looser than he should PF for a small bet, but not a big one. [/ QUOTE ] Getting 4-bet kinda blows, even though obviously I call, I don't want to race my way out of here when everyone else is so much shorter and I'm better than the field. Plus, he doesn't fold enough-- I can't make him go away nearly often enough preflop or when I miss the flop. I promise you if I make it 125k and bet 175k on the flop he turbo calls both bets with the hand he had.
