Hm hard one this is, i would had bet turn to figure his flop call out, u put him in a perfect postion showing so much weaknes, as this hand plays out he could very well sitt on AA or QQ, wich u would had got a better read on if u had bet turn... But the check gives him to much adv and reason to bluff. so if I had checked turn and he gone all-in Id either call to see his hand out for future hands, or fold to give myself the image of a lose player...

dont you also screw yourself by checking? youre automatically in a tough spot now b/c if he bets a small amount youre at least calling (and then calling again on the river)...hes not going to check it down twice....its either big call or big fold now, both of which you cant do with much certainty.
