Default Chinese Poker 2-7 in the Middle Hand at The Bellagio

Yesterday I had an interesting hand at the Bellagio. Chinese poker $75 the point 2-7 in the middle

3 5 7 9 J A A K
You Have two ways to play this hand:
A: Flush J9753 AAK or
B: KK993 23578 AAJ

Which one do you think is stronger?

I think with B, you have a shot at two hands: the middle and the 3-card. With A, I don't think the K-high flush is strong enough to merit the change of the middle from 78 to J9--it's less strong than in standard CP, and you are basically stuck with the AAK.

B, and it's not a particularly close decision. Powerhouse front hand in either case, but 8 low is also a big hand in the middle. In Hand A, I wouldn't be confident that either one of my middle or front hands would win. Flushes in the back are probably the most overrated hand in Chinese Poker.

I have found some players will sandbag the middle to make the other two strong, whereas others like to make a strong middle and sacrifice one of the others.

Pay attention to your opponent's tendencies for which hand he tends to sandbag and adjust accordingly.

Personally I like B in this situation. Even if someone sacrifices their middle that 'sacrificed' hand could still be better than ur Jack.

Is there a set of tables equivalent to Basic Strategy for Chinese with 2-7 in the middle? I'm trying to follow this discussion, but have no numbers to use as reference points. . .
