I love when this happens and then villains complain about how unlucky they are.

Quick thread hijack: Do most OPGers like/dislike threads like this? I realize most of these 'should' go into the BBV wasteland, but OPG is a pretty low traffic section. Personally I see no problem with posting these BBV-style threads here, but I understand the importance of keeping the forum 'clean'. Thoughts, anyone?

C'mon, there was at least a smidgen of content in this post, namely don't limp/call with small pairs and then don't felt yourself when you hit bottom set and the preflop raiser is screaming "I JUST MADE BIGGER TRIPS THAN YOU".

If everyone else thinks this thread was unworthy, I'll be more careful.

Yeah, personally I don't mind it either. You don't see a mod stepping in do you? Why? We're not a problem! It's those sun-glass, poker-cap wearin' hold'em punks that go overboard with this type of stuff (and you know that I mean that in the nicest way, I always love 'em at my table ). If it got to the point that we have more of those posts than content posts, then it'd be a problem. I don't know what it is about us other-poker types, but we're just not like that. I'm thinking it's a good thing. -grin-

Lurkers like it because we see that, man alive, if you can get action like that from pocket sixes maybe we need to pay more attention to draw.

I'm headed back to the shadows now.

I lost with 22 that improved to trips only to run into JJJ last night. I have tightened up my starting ranges appropriately with good results.
