Default 2-7 Razz New Game at the Bellagio

Does somebody knows this game. Today they were playing at the Bellagio 300-600, It plays like Stud or Razz with 7 cards no draw and of course the best hand is 23457.

I'd think this game would be sort of boring/more frustrating than standard Razz. Without playing it it is hard to say how it plays, but I'm assuming that play becomes tighter as Aces are worthless to start and 6s hurt a bit, but I suppose that just means that a marginal hand in normal razz like an 873 becomes better and 3 card 9s are toward the more marginal range of starting hands.

Unless it was a mix game that was just randomly throwing in tons of goofy games like Omaha hi/Stud hilo regular/A-5 then I don't see this game getting played that much.

surprisingly this sounds like a good game to add to a mix. The opponents get to open weaker, and there will be more people staying till the river with their weak draws. The game could have legs.
