Is "space" on this forum really that hard to come by? One thing I've never understood about these forums is when people go way out of their way to critisize some topic they don't like. I experienced it firsthand with my onslaught threads...I mean, if you don't like something then just move on. Its not like theres a limited number of topics that can be started here.

2 points about Yao getting "owned":

1) He gets pushed underneath the basket, and therefore is out of position, before Jones even gets into the lane, and
2) Unlike most NBAers and their concern for their image, at least Yao contests the shot. Most players just get out of the way and let the dunk happen so as to not be "posterized"
This is why it seems that Yao gets owned so often, he actually tries to block shots even when he has very little chance of successfully doing so.

Same thing happened with Shawn Bradley. Bradley is one of the most prolific shot blockers in NBA history but all you hear about is the times he get "owned."
