Default Drinking by yourself

What's everyone's opinion on this matter? Personally I'm a big fan of it. Bear in mind I don't get [censored]-faced, I just kinda kick back with a couple glasses of Crown and Coke or something cheap like Evan Williams. I find that most people take this as a surefire sign that someone has a "problem" but I don't believe that to be the case at all. Am I right or wrong here? FYI I had a couple Crown and Cokes but have turned to Canadian Club Whisky for the time being.
I think this
is a great article, that deserves to be read.

Drinking alone = alcoholic, unless you are drinking something that tastes very good in moderation (1-2 drinks max).

I am drinking alone right now, but I am going out to a bar in a bit.
I do have a drinking problem though.

I don't see a problem with someone having a few drinks alone.

Meh. I am a sophomore in college, and I started having drinks at 6 or 7 at night to relax after classes. Mostly just 1 or 2 whiskeys, screwdrivers, or even white russians (though I don't like telling people because they won't shut up about The Big Lebowski). Then 1 or 2 turned into 3 or 4, multiple nights a week. A while ago I started having them earlier in the day, as early as 2 or 3 o'clock. It got very addictive for different reasons. You know it is bad when your friends in college (in college!) start telling you you have a problem. In short, do it if you think you can control yourself. (obvious, i guess)
