This pot is entirely too small for the strength of your hand.

Bet the river for a PSB, and call a raise.

Or, c/r the river, and any 7 or A will pay you off. If reraised, I probably call.

Note: you set yourself up for having to make that call by underrepresenting your hand. He'll push any Q here on the river thinking you might have Ax or 7x or something weird.

I also don't like the turn c/c at all.

Flawless,

Seems like a very extensive trap. Would any other river card made you feel as uncomfortable?

After thinking about this for a moment (and erasing a long stupid post) I think a raise is silly on this river. You won't make a Q fold. AQ/AA/77 are definetly getting it in. And anything you beat will not call your raise. So you don't get paid off ever with the outright best hand.

What you need to way to figure out your EV is the times you can get him to fold Qx compared to the times that he holds AA/AQ/77. If making him fold Qx is greater then the other holdings then a raise is in order. NO WAY that is the case here.

Why can't he have 7x?

I make it 400 straight and do not plan on folding.

weird hand, well if u wake up and raise small villain will obv figure ur hand out and and not pay u off unless u are chopping. the only way I can see you getting value is making a gigantic, perhaps all in raise.

this is a two way bet
1) you might get villain to fold a queen (unlikely)
2) you might get villain to call with an ace thinking you are bluffing (unlikel)

however, this all runs the possibility of running into QA, AA or 77, however, it would look ALOT like you have AA and perhaps a decent player would fold a queen

edit: also, perhaps vilain can have 7x here and if u minraise he will call, but then, you have to be worried about a push.

these are my thoughts for raising the river, I would call ,taking the line you took
