PP5/10 J6s river play w/ str8
sb is 41/15 fish.
he has been v str8forward thus far calling my PFRs and check/folding every flop. obv i dont haqve him pegged as a bluffer, but u never know what ppl are capable of, he could have anything at least some small percentage. note that he has 2200 left after betting river. Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (6 handed) pokerhand.org hand converter MP ($1043.57) CO ($1000) Hero ($4144.38) SB ($3049.63) BB ($985) UTG ($1313.50) Preflop: Hero is Button with J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $5. 3 folds, Hero raises to $35, SB (poster) calls $30, 1 fold. Re: PP5/10 J6s river play w/ str8
I raise. It is VERY unlikely he'll have 68 here and he will probably pay you off with lots of worse hands. How about making it $1500?

Re: PP5/10 J6s river play w/ str8
I put him 66,77 or a busted FD. I dont think a villain who C/F a lot of flops is suddenly calling with 86. Raise.
edit. Would villain even call preflop with 86s,56s? |

Re: PP5/10 J6s river play w/ str8
I think this is exactly 56 the was majority of the time. Since you have the 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] I wouldn't be too scared about him showing up w/ 86.
Do you think he folds a split if you push? |

I don't think he's asking you whether to raise with second nuts, rather the amount.

[ QUOTE ] Do you think he folds a split if you push? [/ QUOTE ] do you? [/ QUOTE ] No, I was about to edit my post b/c i realized it was a silly question (suprised you didn't just reply "LOL" tho ). But too slow. I think the main object should therefore be to optimize our win when he has a set or some goofy 2 pair hand that he played terrible. I think raising to $1250 (and obv. calling i push is best).. If he can make big calls I don't mind pushing either.. he will probably talk himself into calling. |
