Never fold this ever. No way you are deep enough to get off this hand...anyway I think you should definitely raise it up here. The better question is what other hands do you take this line with? J9, 97, 10X? Once you answer that it will be easier to figure out what to do here.

Why do you think so? Just for the sake of argument, if you had AT here and decided to take this same line what would you do after he raised the turn?

I don't know about FV, but I would find a fold pretty easily there.

Move it. With your image there's no reason to get tricky here. "CO open limps" = This guy is obviously horrible so he's never folding an 8, and probably never folding some limped overpair. Move it and laugh at the trash he calls you with.

Any reason? You would fold after he raises the turn? That's, ummm...weak/tight.

No, it's called hand reading. Read all the other posts in this thread. Every single person on in this thread is reading him for a hand that will call an all-in and many people (including myself) think he often has a hand that beats AT.

the CO is mostly unknown to me i am fairly new to the game

FWIW, in my small sample he has used to pot button every time he has bet/raised.

Pretty decent reasons to never fold this ever.

Er, it is?

It's moot anyway cuz I can't imagine he would ever play AT like that.

I actually agree with a raise, but not a push. Make it like 1500-1600? I know that seems like a kind of weak play especially if you were in this hand vs. a good player, but I gather this guy isn't good. Give him a chance to be potstuck to draw, probably call with a ten, and probably push with an 8.

P.S. You cannot check raise the river vs. anyone who will "open limp" short handed. Open Limp = slightly passive, very good chance he'll shut down on river even with pocket queenish hands.
