Charity tournament for BET at Planet Hollywood
I'm posting this here since this seems to be the easiest forum to get a response from Matt S. as he was the TD.
Was this tournament only open to black players? or were there other races as well? |

It was called Black Poker Superstars, so I'd imagine they were going for a certain demographic there.

I would love to see a White Poker Superstar Tournament and see what kind of racist backlash that gets! I guess you can only be racist if you are white. How 'bout we now add White only Award shows to counterbalance the BET and Ebony and NAACP Awards?
Am I alone here or does anyone else find this a little racist? A Poker Tournament for African Americans? C'mon now, next we'll have a Jewish poker tournament for Matasow, Fishman, Elezra, Mizrahi and me! Excuse the rant |
