Default Re: $6 party 55 in BB - do i want to flip here?

[ QUOTE ]
I'm playing the 6$ at party too, is it still better to move up to the 11$ if I am a bad player?(lower ROI(or higher -ROI) > higher rake?)

[/ QUOTE ]

i have just done this following their advice and they seem tougher to me, but i've been running very strangely so i can't give a true assessment atm.

You know about the Gap concept? You need a bigger hand to call than you need to open.

With 55 and 9xBB left, I can see pushing if you're first in, but that's a bad spot to be calling. If you're lucky you're a small favorite, or you're way behind.

It would be good to get your money in very soon, as you have enough of a stack left to be able to make a steal. People might actually fold to a raise to 9xBB, but the shorter you get the easier it is for them to call. You should be patient in this case and look for a better spot, though.

You don't even need to read the post to answer this - all you need is the title.

Easy fold.

I highly doubt the difference in ROI makes up for the difference in rake at the party $6s and $11s. If your role supports it move up asap.
