Default Bankroll/Strategy Question

Through running bad, playing poorly in spots, and repaying a p2p loan (20 BI) I have managed to take BR down to 6 BI.

My question is this: Would you rather play very Tight and try to only get involved in hands where you know you are a big fav preflop (QQ+, AK) and try to play these strong hands as fast as possible, or, keep playing your TAG style (VPIP anywhere from 18-26 for me)and continue to practice the style in which you are comfortable?

I ask this bc at microstakes, it is relatively easy to reload if you go busto. Once you move beyond uNL, it becomes quite difficult to re-deposit and rebuild a proper BR.

So, do I tighten up for the next few sessions and try to get the money in good as a strong favorite (vs. becoming involved in more pots w/ smaller pairs, suited connectors, in position, etc.) - and hope to rebuild my BR in this way, knowing that if I go busto I can re-deposit?

Or, do I continue in the style I'm used to playing, and continue to practice good, fundamental play w/in that style, and if I go busto I still have to reload just the same?

I suppose the third option, which no poker player wants to hear is move down. I am only playing 25NL right now, so I suppose I could move to 10NL if necessary. I assume this boring, yet prob beneficial option, will elicit the most support.

Also I plan to work on running better.

And another option is to read the FAQ.

Yeah, everyone knows to make your roll bigger you need to drop QQ/AK and just play AA/KK.

if you can redeposit why not just ship like 200 to your account so you can have ~15 and play optimally. Either that or i would drop to 10nl and make it to at least 10 bi.

Move down and 4 table 10NL for a bit. You can easily go broke with 6 BI if youre not careful.

In June I had a horrible stretch that I never thought existed and it cut my roll in half. After reading the SSNL essentials I dropped down to NL25. It only took a couple weeks to rebuild my roll and it was good for the ol' confidence as well. I've been back to NL50 and am close to NL100 (30BI). DROP DOWN!!! don't get stuck on your ego.
