PokerStars 2/4 Hold'em (4 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Preflop: Hero is Button with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
UTG raises, Hero 3-bets, 1 fold, BB calls, UTG calls.

Flop: (9.50 SB) T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
BB checks, UTG bets, Hero calls, BB calls.

Turn: (6.25 BB) A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
BB bets, UTG folds, Hero calls

River: (8.25 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, BB calls

BB has A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

So I lost a little bit of value by not charging him to draw, but I guess playing it safe is probably good.

What I was just wondering is if the board was dry (like 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]) is a raise correct then. Our average equity goes up because there are fewer draws, but villains range should be tighter when he bets.

I like a raise here. He could very easily have a smaller ace + a flush draw and will pay off here. He could pay off to a non heart raise on the river but your pot equity is not likely to get any better and if he's only trying to represent the ace, with just two hearts, it is possible he won't pay off a river raise. Raise here. If you are three bet, call down.

There is like a million better hands in his range. KJ, QT, AT, AQ are like 37 combos alone.

If he is on a complete bluff you want to keep him in.

Raise/calling is bad IMO.

Stop overplaying 1 pair on coordinated turns against non-maniac villains when you cant fold to a 3-bet.

It maybe a small leak, but I generally play it the same, but raise the turn.
