Does anyone know how 2+2's ranking on Google be affected by the change in forum software?

SEO and related topics have been discussed a lot recently. From my understanding our ranking shouldn't be adversely affected by this in any real way. There's no reason it should because we'll still have the same pages indexed where they're at right now. The plan is to leave forumserver.twoplustwo.com much as it is as an archive.

Google is looking at the twoplustwo domain. To make things easier I've installed a popular google/yahoo sitemap solution (free vBSEO mod) that should optimize new indexing. Googlebot gets instructions is the gist of it. The generator even autoreports if we want it to. Also, the full vBSEO product is still being looked at seriously. We want to use it. Mostly it's just a matter of whether the timing is right. There are good arguments for waiting and doing it now.
