Pokertracker: Summaries, Satellites and 0% ROI
I have a question, and perhaps it is just a lack of understanding, re: PokerTracker and satellite entries (Full Tilt):
Say I enter a $50+5 satellite and win a seat ($200+16). Then I enter the main tourney, and make the money. According to PT, when I manually enter the summary info, I enter the buy-in for the satellite, the winnings would be the value of the total entry fee, and I check the Satellite box. Next, I enter the main tourney info, but put $0 in the Actual buyin fields. Now, when I look at my results, I see a 0 under the ROI for this tourney (because it shows the actual buy-in as $0, and this is presumably a divide-by-zero error). Well, what is going on here? Why is it not calculating my ROI correctly? And why do you have to mess around with flagging certain tourney wins as being a satellite win? Surely the net is exactly the same: you win $216 in the satellite, you spend $216 in entry fees. From PT help, it says something about "not losing your entry fee if this is from a satellite". What?? I feel like I am missing something obvious, but don't see it! Cheers |

I'll bump this just once, I also have not heard from PT support yet.
Cheers. |

Re: Pokertracker: Summaries, Satellites and 0% ROI
I believe you could do this.
But then what is the point in the Sat checkbox option (and the Actual Buyin/Fee)? |
