Default NL 50 - KQ, flop top two, huge river bet

Guy has been solid, I have been raising a lot too. I thought he had a flush draw the whole time, and now I am confused.

Full Tilt Poker, $0.25/$0.50 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 5 Players
LegoPoker Hand History Converter

Hero (CO): $127.20
BTN: $60.35
SB: $45.70
BB: $70
UTG: $64.75

Pre-Flop: K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (CO)
UTG calls $0.50, Hero calls $0.50, 2 folds, BB checks

Flop: ($1.75) Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 Players)
BB checks, UTG bets $1.50, Hero raises to $6.25, BB folds, UTG calls $4.75

Turn: ($14.25) 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $13, UTG calls $13

River: ($40.25) 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
UTG bets $45 and is All-In, Hero???

Blech that's weird. If he's really solid then the only hand that remotely makes sense is 22, but why would a solid player play it this way with the draws present?

I guess he could have something like AK waiting to see if the FD hit, but whatever it is I'd say he played it poorly.

I think I find a call just because his line makes no sense at all to me.

I can't put this guy on a hand here.. If he has a set of 2's wouldn't he want to protect his hand against all the draws? You said this guy has been solid, but maybe he limped with a hand like 3d4d,5d6d, Ad10d, QdJd, Jd10d. From his viewpoint you have been raising alot and maybe he is just trying to get you to fold a weak queen. I think this is a call.

However, I think the key problem with this hand is the lack of a pre-flop raise from you. The hand would have played out completely different if you would have stuck in a raise pre-flop. The post-flop decisions would have been easier to make.

I completely agree, I have no idea why I didnt raise this, and your read is spot on my friend. I am very impressed. I called, and he showed 3d4d.

That's one of the weirdest things I think I've ever seen from someone "solid."

I'm going to go with call it, too. If he shows you the 34dd/AA/22, you're going to have to change your read...

Oh, raise pf please.

I actually really like his play on the river, pushing makes it seem like he missed. I obviously dont think he has a set, and wasnt even thinking about 34. Raise preflop and this doesnt happen though. Bad hand me.
