Default 200nl: KK - is he trying to stack-a-donk?

Villain is 35/8/1.6, standard Party fish. His weak flop lead/call then turn check makes me feel he's trying to stack a donk (CRAI turn, usually with set).

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $2 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

saw flop|saw showdown

Hero ($281.09)
Button ($507.20)
SB ($215.75)
BB ($72.50)
UTG ($533.10)
MP ($180.55)

Preflop: Hero is CO with K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
1 fold, MP calls $2, Hero raises to $9, 3 folds, MP calls $7.

Flop: ($21) 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
MP bets $8, Hero raises to $33, MP calls $25.

Turn: ($87) 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
MP checks, Hero checks.

River: ($87) 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
MP calls $180.55 (All-In), Hero folds.

Final Pot: $267.55

If I was deeper I could bet/fold turn, but stacks are short enough on turn that a bet basically prices me in to call a shove as either a CRAI turn or open shove on river.

Comments on all streets please, I'd like to hear some alternate lines etc too.

Did you notice you have KK?

bet/call the turn and smile...but most of the time he will call and then value stack himself with J8.

Most people who donk flops with sets will shove over the flop raise. Having said that I think he turned or rivered a set.

By checking turn you look really weak, which leaves you in a tough river spot. So bet on the turn - if you get check-raised you are in a better position to fold/call

Your line looks like air/flush draw here.

this guys pretty passive. i dont really think a fish is open shoving the river as a bluff or with anything you beat.
