Pretty standard hand
10/20 2K stacks
Villian in this hand is pretty fishy. stats are 47/22 We have been playing back at each other some but have yet to play a big pot. villian open completes in the SB, I raises K5s to 80 he calls. flop A J 8 two hearts. I bet 3/4 pot he calls Turn comes a T of hearts giving me the nuts He leads for 100 into a 600 pot.... should I raise pot here or just shove? |

Re: Pretty standard hand
i think both are bad against a fish... just make it 500 and shove river.

Re: Pretty standard hand
youve got the nuts so there's the last thing we want to do is blow villian off his hand. looks like a small raise here to 450 is best here since its v small giving him good odds to call w. draws and its v unlikely hes got a set IMO so you don't have to worry about that.

Re: Pretty standard hand
yeah in the actual hand I made it 600.
River comes a Q non heart and I shoved it and he folded. Since we had been playing a bit at each other in hindsight I thought villian might stack off with a wider range, but I guess my line is fine |

Re: Pretty standard hand
Bad river card, now he can't call you with a set or two pair.
You played the hand fine though. |
