sick call. i actually like it more upon seeing results lol. hmm. but nah i still wouldn't.

People discounted QQJx from his range because of the flop call when we should have included TTxx prob. people are good.

wow people are so bad lol....I'll remember to not use common sense in spots like the flop here in PLO anymore. If he's peeling hands like that it's closer to a fold but I'm a station so I probably call.

It's pretty clear from this thread that most HSNL people suck ass at PLO.

So if villain can have QQJ he can also have AAxx KKxx QQxx JJxx whatever [censored] that 1) picked up diamonds on turn and 2) he realizes is no good on the river and decided to bluff the boo-scary board.
Saying its a fold because people peel with "QQJx" here is retarted, nobody has QJ here ever, maybe villain could have J7 but he would have to have exactly J876 or be retarted and have like J743 J764 or w/e.
In short villain just isn't checking river with anything except maybe T+other pair so saying that he would always peel flop with overpair and show up on the river with a straight AND check it down (!!!) is so meh. I'm not saying its a fistpumpsnapcall but its very distant from a clear fold.

Just saw the results. I had a reply predicated on villain not being a complete PLO donk, so much for that. I hate everything about villains play (except maybe the river push) and I think your call on the end is at the very best marginal even if you know villain is a spewtard.

[ QUOTE ]
just read all of txredman's posts, pretty much agree exactly with all of it, other than maybe preflop since i'm a preflop monkey in this game. could be a leak of mine though. Also, I think it's possible for him to have a couple of hands that aren't fds that bluff this river and don't have us beat.

[/ QUOTE ]

i'd like to make a couple things clear.

first, i dont like preflop, but that doesn't mean i wouldn't play this hand. i've played worse. all the time as a matter of fact. but that's because/when i feel like i can outplay someone with any four. in the omaha starting hand food chain this hand sucks. OP probably doesn't play much PLO (although i could be wrong, he sounds like a NLHE player, and has probably played 1000x more nlhe).

i think some of you need to consider that OP and many, many, if not almost all of the people who read this thread shouldn't be playing this type of hand in this kind of spot for a long time.

maybe what i'm trying to say is, until you're very comfortable in plo, try and pick your spots better in situations like these.

although after seeing the results, wow OP, nice game selection. wtfwtfwtf. villain's flat call on the turn is atrocious.

-Tex

edit: this is also a classic example of how even winning players can have huge swings. just look at this [censored] hand.
