2+2 Ron Paul Fundraisers?
Would there be any demand for a 2+2 Ron Paul fundraiser? Like a $10+1 tourney where the $1 goes to Ron Paul's presidential campaign. Is this even possible?

3 Issues:
1. You couldn't call it a 2+2 tournament. The admins are touchy about copyrights. 2. You would have to set up a payment system to demonstrate that there is minimal risk of a scam. It probably wouldn't fly for you to act as an intermediary to send money to Paul. Besides, that violates campaign finance laws. 3. If you choose to advertise the tourney outside this forum, other mods are likely to be annoyed.

[/ QUOTE ] It doesn't hurt, but when people get away from the idea that "I gave money to a good cause and therefore my soul is saved", that's when you'll see some real change; namely, they'll start incorporating ideas into their own lives.

Paul isn't considered a first tier candidate by the press because he doesn't have as much money as others. I think his philosophy has less to do with it than some think. If he had as much cash on hand as Hillary he would get discussed more in the press.
