Its raining and I'm hung over so I thought I'd post some pictures. I pretty much forgot I had a camera for most of my first week here. I'm kinda all about food, so thats what most of this will end up being. I'll try to pop in every couple days and add some more.

I spent five days in bangkok and then flew to the island Koh Sumai.
My home at Chaweng.



It was awesome, chaweng sucks serious ass though. Annoying dudes trying to hustle you every five steps. "Hey mister, nice shoes. Hold on a second." [censored] YOU. So then it was off a couple miles south to Lamai where I am now. Its much nicer here. Still super touristy but less dudes trying to get in your face.

Both places cost a little under $30, you can find cheapo fan rooms for $10 if thats what you're in to.

Yesterday I wandered around all day (and got sunburned to all hell) and found this awesome huge market.

Then it's time to go visit my boy that makes fried chicken and various grilled meats on sticks on all night by the 7-11.





Then it's dinner time! Mussel Fritters on the left. (it was listed as an appetizer, I was expecting a couple little peices and some dipping sauce or something. Whatever, it was pretty awesome.) "fried basil and chiles with beef" on the right. The whole thing with a glass of juice was just over three bucks.



Hangover breakfast, I decided I didn't want to know what the hotdog looking things were.




Chicken curry for lunch, this was spicy as hell. Most joints seem to tame everything down for my pasty white ass. [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

Looks cool. Do you feel scared at all, of being robbed or anything? Just wondering cuz I want to go sometime. The food looks good, and good call staying away from hot dog like objects.
