2/5 sweet PF spot w/ AA
3rd hand in at 2/5 foxwoods. MP1 is young kid with maybe 3k in front, and even though ive only been sitting for 2 min, the table is grumbling about how crazy he is.
I have $500 in front, 5 limpers to me and i have AA on the button. I make it 35, BB calls (he looks loose), and MP1 makes it 100 straight. Folds to me. Great place to be, but what's the best play here? BB is very deep and likely is good for ATC if I just call. I'm too shallow for a reraise, and a push here seems excessive. Play the aces in position against 2 players? Or come out firing? |

Raise way more the first time $50 min.
Raise to $300 now. Fold to a push since AA never hold up to his range . SMS |

Re: 2/5 sweet PF spot w/ AA
reraising seems terrible since he has air here so often and you're going to take down his 150$ cbet 100% of the time. making it 350 is going to get him to fold alot of hands and we dont really want that.

Re: 2/5 sweet PF spot w/ AA
The problem that I have with calling is that the BB is still there. If the BB wasn't there I would call. You really don't want this pot to be 3 handed. I still think a RR here is best.

Call and all-in on flop. You should focus on getting max value. If stacks were deeper you should raise.

Re: 2/5 sweet PF spot w/ AA
Obviously arguments can be made either way. Something to consider though, in my 1/2 + 2/5 experience, 4betting PF is usually AA/KK. Live play at low/med limits is significantly more passive than online 1/2 (or .5/1 really).
Of course, limp-raising is usually indicative of AK+ or complete trash. But this kid appears pretty LAGish, so who knows. The stack sizes are pretty awkward here. |
