Default 1/2 Foxwoods TPTK

Earlier villain and I both showed down the nuts in a $1000 pot. Other than that, no real reads except for his chip stack >1k. Seems to be playing well. My image is TAGgy.

Dealt A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] UTG+1. Villain is UTG and limps. I raise to 15, shortstack behind me calls, folds to villain who thinks for 10 sec and calls.

Effective stacks are 400
Flop: Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
Pot: ~50

Villain checks, i bet 20 (hoping shortie will shove), shortstack folds, villain calls.

Turn: 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
Pot: 90

Villain leads for 50. I tank for a bit, then call.

River: 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
Pot: 190

Villain bets 200. Hero???

I seriously considered folding the turn. Online i think this is a clear fold, but in live play people do wacky things, and TPTK is often the nutz. What should I do here?

wtf turn is an instacall. and i like your flop bet.

river is weird. i think that 45s could be there in his range, a set/(not rivered boat). other than that, there arent a whole lot of draws on the flop aside from 45.

i would probably dump the river but hesitate alot. i can definitely see a call with this being live. but given the size of his bet and your read, i think this is a fold.

noah,
i disagree. i think given the board texture and his overall plan (hoping ss will shove over a weak bet), his bet size is good.

I hesitated on the turn b/c I hadn't yet seen him donk into anyone like this. I kinda expected to see a monster or complete air. I wanted to raise or fold, but the sizes are kinda awkward for a raise, and I didn't want to give up...

The six pairing the river effectively eliminated him having a set of 6s on the flop. That meant that i was only worried about 45s, some random rivered boat, or a set of 3's that filled up. I tanked for like a minute and called, he showed QT and MHIG. Brag.

Already saw the results, but I could see something like 65 given the check call on the flop and lead on the turn and than the big bet on the river too.

Sticky situation. I think it is a fold more often then not. I mean, any legit hand we put him on has us beat.

already saw results.

Hand is tough because you played it so weak: small flop bet, call his turn bet, now this on the river. I guess I would have folded the river. But to avoid these types of spots, I just bet more on flop. Then if he bombs turn and river, i fold river easily.

So basically, if you're going to induce big bets/bluffs, you gotta make big calls, which you apparently do.
